euConsent common vocabulary

ACCS
June 2021

For euConsent, one very important aspect is the use of a common vocabulary, especially having partners in different countries but also because we aim to raise the issue of safety in online environment for children, anywhere in Europe. Therefore one activity of our research phase consists in gatherering a glossary or terms, provisions, descriptions and definitions used in the field of age verification and parental consent, to build a common vocabulary.

A live version of the glossary will be maintained on the dadicated page www.euCONSENT.eu/glossary and this report will be updated at the conclusion of the project to capture a comprehensive list of terms accumulated during the project.”Translations of the terms and definitions are available through the online version of the glossary, but in case of conflict in interpretation, the English definition should be considered as definitive.
