JusProg was founded in 2003 in Hamburg, Germany as a non-profit association. JusProg offers parents, schools and other educational institutions free of charge youth protection programs for all important devices that minors use to surf the internet.

JusProg offers the only youth protection program officially recognized by law (JMStV) in Germany. JusProg is mainly financed by its member companies, including almost all German private TV providers, major internet providers, important providers of computer games and other industries.
