euCONSENT template node – final, Parental Consent

UPCOM
31/12/2021

During the first two months of this task, we design and implement the first version of the euCONSENT template node for parental consent. As with the AV nodes, our main focus has been on the functionality that is necessary for the scenarios and missions to be tested during the large-scale pilots, and most importantly, on the interoperability between different Parental Consent (PC) providers. During the implementation of this node, we have paid special attention to the security aspects of the template, by securing the euCONSENT tokens / cookies, encrypting the simple protocol requests and responses, etc.

To facilitate the use of the template Parental Consent (PC)  node by the Parental Consent (PC) providers, we have created a docker image of the node, which can be easily deployed, along with detailed instructions and documentation that has been handed out to the PC providers who will participate in the pilots.

Finally, we have uploaded the PC template node on an open source-code repository (BitBucket), with access to the public. It can be found in the following address: https://bitbucket.org/upcom/euconsent_node/branch/pcp_template-0.1 This repository is constantly and automatically updated with any newer version of the PC template node, including fixes, improvements and new functionality.
