Online Child’s Rights, Age Verification and Parental Consent: Finding the balance
Athens & Online
09 September 2021, 1:00PM – 5:30 PM
Please join us online, or in person in Athens, for this first ever conference to focus exclusively on Online Child’s Rights, Age Verification and Parental Consent: Finding the balance.
The conference will hear the findings of a major suite of academic research in the field, prepared for the European Commission by the euCONSENT programme; a project which is developing European-wide infrastructure to facilitate interoperable Age Verification and Parental Consent mechanisms.
There will also be contributions from charities, regulators and several of the global platforms which are currently seeking to comply with the latest developments in EU law in these fields.
The euCONSENT team will also present their early ideas on how to approach delivering this pan-European solution.
The conference will run from 1pm Athens time (10am GMT, Noon CET) until 5:30pm.
If you wish to attend in person, please select the Athens Ticket, and we will contact you in case you wish to take advantage of the discounted 135 Euro per night room rate at the Athens Marriott (Syngrou Avenue 385, Athens 17564 Greece) where the conference will take place.
